The Uputronics NTX2B-FA is a frequency agile version of Radiometrix’s NTX2B radio module.
This is a direct replacement for the original NTX2 radio and can be used in any circuit the original NTX2 was used in. This unit features a TCXO for extra frequency stability plus frequency agility.
HAB Supplies have modified the NTX2B-FA to permit the selection of channels via a serial connection to the EN pin. Frequency selection is via 235 channels starting at 434.05000MHz up to 434.781250MHz with 3.125KHz channel spacing.
The module will perform as per its label frequency when shipped and will perform exactly as a stock NTX2B would should you not wish to take advantage of the added features of the –FA model. The EN pin can still be used to turn the device on and off.
This module is suitable for license exempt (in Europe) giving out a maximum power of 10mW. The module is well proven in the HAB field recording reception distances in excess of 500Km.
Please advise on frequency required or a random one will be shipped out.
Radiometrix are understandably unable to offer technical support on these modules when used in high altitude ballooning therefore please direct all technical support queries regarding the operation of these modules to Uputronics directly.
